Hello... no one

So... I guess this isn't a very popular blog. I don't know how to make a popular anything. My twitter account isn't popular, my tumblr isn't... Hell, I'm not popular. I'm friends with 'popular' people, but I am not popular...

I don't really see the big deal in being popular. I mean being friends with 'popular' person I get to see most of her life. It doesn't seem great. There are guys in the year below and above who like her, she has a big house, she has tonnes of cool clothes and she is actually (contrary to what movies have told me) really nice, but she doesn't have many 'real' friends. 

Seeing other popular people and their friends no one seems to have any true friends. They aren't trustworthy. The moment popular person falls, they will immediately take their place. They won't stay friends with ex-popular person. They will just become new popular person. And the cycle continues.

This is all observation. I'm not insulting or blaming because I think that will all want/have wanted to be popular. If you haven't then you will. It's just human nature. I have wanted to be popular and sometimes I still want to be popular, but not many people seem to actually truly 'like' popular people.

Popular people are like for one main thing. Their popularity. They aren't generally like for their hilarity or charity. Because people like them for their popularity, the moment they aren't popular people leave them. If they like popular person for one thing and then that one thing is taken away. Well, why should they stay friends with popular person? They have no reason to. 

What makes things even more complicated is that popular person can't not be friends with their 'friends'. They need those friends to keep them popular. If they shun their 'friends' away, then their popularity will dwindle. You can't be popular and have no friends. It just doesn't work like that. 

Why don't the friends 'overthrow' the popular person? Simple, they give them power. It's like in school. Teachers only have power over us because we give them power. Same situation with world leaders. They have power because we give them power (in democratic countries we literally give them their power). 

This whole post wasn't meant to insult or belittle or be rude to anyone. It was simply observations. I just want people (or no one) to know and try to understand my views on popularity.

I'm sorry (again)! I did tell you however that I wouldn't keep this up.

Anyway, I bought Taylor Swift's album "RED" yesterday and I'm addicted to it. It's amazing!!!! I am a major Swiftie (Taylor Swift fan), but it is really good. She wrote 80% of songs by herself and the other 20% she wrote with other peeps. So, BUY IT!!!!!!!!!!!

Before you read on, you should know this is mainly about iPhones and Apple stuff so if you hate Apple then don't read...

Anyway, I was thinking about getting an iPhone 5, I'm going to get one eventually and I just thought I might as well get one now. I will probably get a white one because apparently with the black model the back is painted and it can chip. I don't want it chipping and changing colour. Also, I've had a black and I wanna switch it up a bit. I updated my iPhone 4 to iOS 6 and I didn't really want to change it because mainly of the YouTube app loss. I mean, you can just download it from the app store, but the only problem is that I enjoy going onto other apps and listening to the song and you can't do that with the app. Although, that'll probably be changed soon. Also, apparently Apple Maps is bad. However, I was pleasantly surprised. Apple Maps ain't that bad. I'll have to get used to the YouTube situation.

So, with the iPhone 5 the only other problem (last one) is the new charger thing. I'll have to buy a adapter from the 30pin to Lightning. The only thing I'll have a problem with is my speakers. I'll have to put my adapter on the speakers and then the iPhone 5. Which might not be stable due and look good due to the height of the iPhone 5...

Other than that nothing is that bad. On the plus side, you get a bigger screen, which'll be better for videos, photos, scrolling etc. Also, it is a lot quicker with the A6 chip. Plus, there is 4G LTE the biggest thing for me. I download tonnes of stuff and watch tonnes of videos. So that will be extremely helpful for me. There is Siri, but that doesn't interest me that much because I live in Hong Kong so half of it I can't use. However, you can do more with it on the phone itself so I'll get more usage out of that rather than if I had the iPhone 4S.

One last problem. Cost. I'll buy it, but it depends on the package.

I'm soooooo sorry I haven't posted, but I just got back form New Zealand! It was so much fun!!!!!!!!!!!

The time has gone by so quickly though! Too quickly. I've met up with two of my friends recently and I asked them if they wanted ANOTHER 9 weeks off and they said no. They would get bored. I wouldn't I mean I just wish we had more holidays because soon (in 2 days) we are going back to school. Now I know the first is half a day and it's simple, but I mean I'm kinda scared. I guess I'm just scared that I won't make any friends with the new kids. But It's weird because I know everyone else who'll be there. I mean like 6 people have left and the class dynamic will have COMPLETELY changed (All changes, even the most longed for, have their melancholy; for what we leave behind us is a part of ourselves; we must die to one life before we can enter another – Anatole France) and the class dynamic last year was so good we all had fun and laughed and no matter how much we complained it was the only year when I truly felt like we were a... a family. We would stick up for each other. All the teachers told us that the other class was better, but we always just said "We have personality" and they would just roll their eyes. We were constantly told the other class is more mature, the other class is quicker, the other class is quieter. We never got told that we were better. EVER!!! Do you know how... discouraging that is? Being constantly told you are worse? It just- I mean- I can't even begin to explain. But the thing is at first we felt bad and wanted to do better, but after a while we didn't care we got used to it. It was nothing new. And although it was horrible I do honestly think that when the teachers told us we were worse it made us closer. It made us unite. It made us a family. And I want that to happen again I guess. But we need certain people for that to happen. We need certain people to speak up. And they've gone. They've left. So it can't happen again.

It is going to take a lot to make a year that good again. I just know it's not going to be as good. And I really, really hope I'm wrong. I do! But I just don't think I am. We start school Tuesday. After that day I'll give you a preliminary thought and on Friday I'll be able to tell you for sure. Unless something majorly dramatic happens.

People complain too much. I'm sick of it. We live in such a world where we want everything perfect. But the reality is NOTHING"S PERFECT!

It started when I was talking about movies and my friend asked me "Have you ever rated a movie ten out of ten?" and that got me thinking. I have never seen a movie where afterwards I thought that was ten out of ten. Where I thought everything was perfect. The plain truth is that there is no movie ten out of ten. Why? Because nothing is perfect.

Now most people would think "Oh! I'm gonna go watch a great movie!" or because the title of this post "I'm gonna be less picky!" But I didn't. I'm not saying I'm above complaining. And I'm not saying no one should complain. I'm not saying be a little less picky. I'm just saying accept that nothing is perfect and don't complain as much. Just try and look at it from both sides. 

Everyone wants to be perfect. And again I'm not saying I'm above this. I want to be perfect too!

But no one seems to accept the fact that no one is perfect. Everybody seems to think that certain people are perfect and they are just one of the people that aren't perfect.
